Got an update for you on the H1B eligibility based on a new court case that came out. For many years the job category called computer programmer would qualify as a H1B position. However, that changed substantially, and the Trump administration said IT no longer qualifies for 2017. They put out a specific memo talking about that. Well on December 16th, a court in California basically turned that on its head and in this court decision they said based on the way you’re analyzing H1B’s and based on the way that you have looked at the job of computer programmer, this job actually does qualify for an H1B. So there’s two actually really, really good points that would help you guys out. Number one is that computer programmer is called for H1B’s. The second thing is that the analysis used by immigration sometimes fails. Keep that in mind.
Thanks.
